We'll be having a short break from sending out orders for books between the 16th and the 30th of August. We'll still get your order and you'll still make a payment, but anything that we receive in that time won't be posted until the 2nd of September. We're sorry that we haven't been able to organise an interim service but hopefully this won't be too disruptive for you. Orders placed before then either through our retail partners or our online shop will be posted on the 15th of August at the latest, so if you want a copy for summer, get one now.
A few weeks ago we were able to take out a family of three to have a go at bouldering at Padley Gorge and to road test our guidebook, Adventures for Kids. Despite all three of them being new to climbing and having some understandable nervousness, everyone had a great day and made firm promises to go back and to keep using the book. Brilliant news! After a long period of hard work, we've finally got our new guidebook ready and you can get your hands on it by ordering through our shop, or buying from one of our usual partners. It's a climbing guide book for children and has all the information parents need to get out there, have a go safely and get back in one piece. Features lots of photos of other children in action and all boulder problems and routes have been tested by youngsters of various sizes, which means they're definitely possible but the grading might be a bit off.
